Ragdoll Fight Basics: Combat, Modes and Menu Options

Understand Ragdoll Fight turns, compare four mode cards and find warm-up, replay, friend-play and spectator options.

Ragdoll Fight is built around turn-based 1v1 fights against real players. Create punches, kicks, grabs and limb-tearing actions by controlling your fighter’s limbs directly. You prepare a move, then watch the physics play it out.

Choose a fight mode

Look for FIGHT on the main menu to find the combat entry. The mode-selection screen offers MMA, Judo, Swords and Jousting, plus an ANY card. Read each mode’s short instruction before choosing:

Read the MMA turn screen

During turn preparation, keep an eye on the turn number and countdown. The turn counter sits at the top alongside FORFEIT and LEAVE; for example, “MMA · TURN 1 / 14” identifies the first turn of an MMA match. RELAX/HOLD and NEXT TURN appear along the bottom, and UNDO appears after a joint change. The score panel displays both fighters’ scores.

Body-part labels help you read your fighter’s displayed state during setup. Example MMA state labels include “RIGHT HIP — RELAX” and “RIGHT HAND — GRIP ON.” Look for both the named body part and its state when checking your preparation.

Practice while waiting

The Dummy warm-up gives you a place to explore movement while matchmaking searches. While waiting in the unranked MMA queue, look for the Dummy and “TURN 1 — WARM-UP” label. This interface includes STEP, SAVE REPLAY and RESTART alongside RELAX/HOLD and NEXT TURN, with CANCEL on the matchmaking bar.

Replays

Replays let you revisit a fight after it ends. The MMA MATCH OVER panel gives you the final scores and ▶ REPLAY, SAVE and SKIP options. “SAVED ✓” identifies the saved state. Look for REPLAYS on the main menu when exploring replay options.

Friends, spectating and challenges

To find the friend-play option, look for PLAY WITH FRIENDS on the main menu. It is a separate entry from FIGHT and FREE PLAY.

To watch live fights, look for SPECTATE on the main menu.

For challenges, look for CHALLENGES on the main menu. The game also features challenge leaderboards. A separate LEADERBOARD button sits beside the Unranked placement display.

For the Ranked requirement, see belts and Ranked access. Compare fighting-style traits before exploring more style options.
